Hi! I’m Ria and I am the P.I.N. Bank Supervisor.
I work closely with our clients to provide clothing and any other material needs we can help them with. I really like my job!
My sister moved into the Segue Women’s House after treatment, and she invited me to the Inner Works Service at Streets Alive – it’s like church on Sunday but a little different. After I learned what the Mission does, I came in to volunteer as much as I could.
One of the principles I live my life by is “Love Unconditionally.” I am most passionate about showing love to the unloved. I get to do that all the time at the Mission.
I’ve been all the way to Mexico, but my favourite place to be is right here in Alberta – at Writing On Stone Provincial Park, especially in the sunshine!
People showing love to others for Jesus gives me hope.
I’ve seen how much the Mission helps people – real people like my sister. I’m happy to be able to help others in very practical ways at the P.I.N. Bank. Your donations of clothing, shoes, household items, and toiletries make it possible for me to love those who come in for these essential items. Thank you!
